After the introductory period, earn five stamps on different days for 30 days of bonus.
Am I eligible, and what must I commit?
- Who qualifies
- Individual customers with an activated Ryt account in good standing and money in Save Pockets. Bankrupt customers and closed, dormant, delinquent or otherwise ineligible accounts are excluded.
- Deposit requirement
- Bonus on up to RM20,000 combined across Save Pockets. Main-account balances do not qualify for the bonus.
- Spending requirement
- Five eligible card or JomPAY payments of RM10+; maximum one stamp/day. Check excluded merchant categories and the eligible biller list in the terms.
- Rates, caps & limits
- 2.05% base + 1.95% bonus, subject to the campaign-wide deposit quota.
- Campaign period
- 18 June 2026–1 February 2027. Each qualifying stamp set resets 30 bonus days, subject to campaign end.
- When you receive it
- Calculated daily; bonus is credited to the designated Ryt Pocket when the accrued payable amount is at least RM0.01. The bank aims for next-day payment, but terms allow 14 business days or longer in exceptional circumstances.
Runs through 1 February 2027, subject to remaining allocation. Check your bonus status in-app.
What to do, and by when
- Check your account’s bonus status before moving savings. The product page advertises an introductory 30 days for newly activated accounts; confirm that it applies to you.
- Put the savings you want to qualify into Save Pockets. The bonus cap is shared across all Pockets; main-account money only earns the base rate.
- For renewal, collect five stamps from eligible card or JomPAY payments of at least RM10, on five different days. The fifth stamp starts the 30-day period; each new set resets it rather than adding 30 days.
- Check the app’s stamps and expiry date after payments. Keep the transaction references if an expected stamp or credit is missing.
What could this mean in ringgit?
Illustration: RM5,000 × 1.95% × 30/365 ≈ RM8.01 extra above the base return for 30 qualifying days. Spending RM50 unnecessarily would outweigh that bonus.
What could reduce or remove the benefit?
- A DuitNow QR payment is not a qualifying card or JomPAY payment. Multiple purchases on one day still earn at most one stamp.
- Card exclusions include insurance, stored-value loading, tax payments and charity categories. JomPAY uses a separate inclusion list: match the code on your bill, not just a similar biller name.
- The currently linked JomPAY list includes TNB 5454 and Air Selangor 4200. This does not mean every utility or every payment method qualifies.
- After a refund or reversal, check whether the stamp remains valid. The reviewed campaign terms do not explain the exact stamp-clawback process; ask Ryt with the transaction reference before relying on it.
- An expired bonus window, exhausted campaign quota or loss of account eligibility can stop bonus earnings. Amounts above the combined cap earn the base rate.
If you withdraw, or the offer ends
You can move money out of Pockets without an FD-style tenure. A lower end-of-day Pocket balance reduces that day’s eligible bonus. When the bonus window or campaign ends, the ordinary base rate applies. The terms also provide for forfeiture of unpaid bonus on campaign conclusion, specified changes or loss of eligibility.
Who might find it worthwhile?
Useful when five qualifying transactions already fit your normal month. On RM5,000, the illustrative extra RM8.01 over 30 days is a modest saving benefit; compare it with the effort of another account.
When to skip it: Skip the bonus chase if it would make you buy things you do not need, split bills awkwardly or miss an existing bill deadline. You can use the ordinary account without budgeting for a bonus.
Keep evidence and get help
Keep the Pocket balance record, bonus expiry screen, stamp history and payment references. For JomPAY, retain the biller code and receipt; for card payments, the merchant category determines eligibility.
